• Medical Spa Treatments

  • (CIT) Collagen Induction Therapy

    Note: in Order to Bookt His Service You Must Be an Existing Patient Or Must Book a Core Facial to Assess your Skin and Medical History. The therapy works "with the body" to gently stimulate the body's own natural healing responses. The therapy is administered with the use of very tiny stainless steel or titanium needles used to create micro-channels in the skin. The "needling process" causes a very mild inflammatory response that prompts the dermis to begin a "wound healing cascade" that releases epidermal growth factors. It is this biological response to pricking the skin, that promotes skin and tissue regeneration and scarless healing. Dermal-needling increases the availability of cell nutrients and cellular communication. With access to more nutrients, skin cell function is optimized and rejuvenation is increased. Dermal-needling therapy safely, effectively and predictably stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, keratinocytes, and melanocytes - (the important protein and pigment building blocks of the skin and hair). Results can be further optimized by combining needling with the use of serums or products designed to prompt a significant healing or repair response in the skin, oxygen therapies or micro-current treatments. The process of dermal-needling creates tiny pathways that help skin products and medications penetrate several layers deeper than they could by themselves. This allows for 80% more product delivery to pass into the areas where it can be of the greatest benefit to the client.
